An bright blue crab of unknown species has been discovered on a small island in Washington State! The huge crustacean measures approximately 19” in width and height, and 5” in thickness. His general coloration ranges from luscious turquoise to a rich Mediterranean blue, with a touch of cobalt. (The color of his flesh remains unknown since no one has had the heartlessness to crack him open.) Only one intact specimen has been collected to date, but avid beachcombers and crustaceophiliacs have organized search parties throughout the subject area in hopes of gathering additional samples.
“Big Blue” has been depicted by hand in nontoxic textile paint on a warm white ground, then sewn, stuffed, signed and copyrighted by the artist. Arrives in a shiny, crinkly, reusable cellophane bag with a snappy hangtag, ready for gift-giving. The commercial indoor-outdoor fabric is pure acrylic to weather the weather without fading, disintegrating, or shredding. The size is perfect for deck, patio, hammock, easy chair, recliner, sofa, porch swing, or beach blanket. The cover can be easily spot cleaned, or be gentle machine-washed, air dry. Removable polyester insert is machine washable and dryable. His colors just happen to match those in other coastal pillow designs elsewhere on this site!
