Bunk Beds are an ideal way to maximize space and share your gracious home. Go vertical baby!

The Shutter Bunk Bed was inspired by the classic shutters that are the essence of old time cottages. Outfitting a bunk with one of our fabulous trundles increases your sleeping capacity and an additional Bed Bin or two is great for off season clothing and toys. Available in an amazing array of 46 coastal inspired colors.

Our top bunks are equipped with large painted wood panels below the mattress for top bunk support and to hide unsightly top bunk sheets.

Bunk bed ladder can be attached on the side or the foot of the bunk. One safety side rail is included with all bunk bed sets. They are securely attached on the inside of the bed frame in a wood "holster."

Bunk beds easily come apart and can be used as separate twin beds. (Eight finials are included with all bunk bed sets for use with the separated beds.)

All bed measurements are outside post to outside post. Clearance under all side rails is 11.5."

When considering a support and mattress combination for our beds we do not recommend exceeding 18" in height. We find that a bunkie board (a 1.5" - 2.5" mattress platform without springs) and a standard mattress work best.

Bedding is supported by six wood slats that rest on ledges on the inside of the siderails.
