All bed measurements are outside post to outside post. Clearance under side rails is 11.5". When considering a support and mattress combination we recommend a bunkie board or low-profile platform and mattress for optimal height.

Bedding is supported by wooden slats that rest on ledges inside the rails. Queen and king beds are also shipped with a center support. Shorter footboard posts are available upon request at no extra charge.
