Built in 1999, The Eleonora was modeled after Nathanael Greene Herreshoff’s successful design of 1909, the schooner, WESTWARD. She is an Auxiliary Gaff Schooner and, is 49 meters overall, with a beam of 8 meters 20. Her designer was Gaastmeer Ship & Yacht Design, and built by Van der Graaf B.V., in Holland.
