Making a painting look exciting and pleasing to the eye is the ultimate goal in a successful work of art.
Robin was born in southwest Virginia and grew up in a farm house surrounded by beautiful scenery. Her love of travel has provided her with a constant source of inspiration, traveling to places far and wide including destinations such as France, Italy, Spain, Greece, the Caribbean, Hawaii and extensively throughout the U.S. Her work is always developing and each painting is a learning experience. It is her goal to create a painting that is as exciting to her as it is to the collector.
The Process: Giclees
What is a Giclee?
Pronounced Ghee-Klay, the french word "giclee" roughly translated means "to sprinkle ink". Technically, it is a digital method of fine art printing. Robin's original image is digitally captured with a high resolution scanner, matched to the original colors and personally approved by the artist, then sent to a high resolution ink-jet printer to be printed on an archival canvas. The results..."An archival museum quality print."
All pieces are gallery-wrapped giclees in a variety of sizes and wired so they arrive to you ready to hang.
