These handbags are made from hand woven Ata Grass which is only found in Indonesia. The rich, warm color of the bags is a result of smoking them over a mixture of honey and coconut, which also gives them a slight smoky smell that dissipates over time. This process also sets the Ata grass, which is one of the reasons these handbags are as durable as they are stunning.
Another unique feature of the handbags is the sewn in cotton textile lining, whose patterns are carefully chosen to coordinate with each style of bag. The lining for the open style handbags can be easily cinched closed with a drawstring. Leather handles are fine quality leather and the exterior of each bag is embellished with fashion ribbon and a beautiful polished seashell. Each seashell is natural so there are slight variations to the size and shape of each shell which is another reason.
