Our English Farmhouse Bed is a real statement piece. The elegantly carved spindles add a designer style finish to any bedroom. Simply beautiful. This item is artisan crafted using traditional mortise and tenon joinery. Some inset photos are shown with custom posts that are shorter than the standard. We love to customize - just let us know what you would like! Handmade from solid wood and finished by hand in the color of your choice. Your paint finish is mixed with a light lacquer and lightly distressed. Your painted piece will fade and patina over time like a rustic cottage piece will do with use. Given its handmade nature, variations in the wood are to be expected and celebrated.

Note: Clearance under bed is approximately 10". The mattress will sit approximately 12.5" from the floor. Height from the top of the slats to the floor is approximately 12" to 13". A box spring and mattress is recommended for all sizes.
