Description
This is the large format of the popular Club House Bird Houseinspired by the classic Southern Plantation style clubhouse at the most famous site in the world of golf. 16 Purple Martin families will nest in style in this fully functional house constructed of exterior grade plyboard, pine shingled roof that is topped with a non toxic outdoor paint. The top lifts off with the removal of four screws to allow yearly cleaning. The "Crows Nest" has screened venting to provide additional ventilation. The house should be placed 12 to 14 feet high.

The houses are fully functional, with removable back walls for easy cleaning. The hole openings (Excluding Purple Martin Houses) are designed to accommodate common cavity dwellers such as Wrens, Finches, Chickadees, Nuthatches and Titmice. The feeders will attract all types of wild birds. The houses and feeders are constructed of: Western Red Cedar or Pine shingles for the roof. Exterior grade ply-board for the walls, floor and underlying roof board. Kiln-dried hardwoods,pine and poly-resin for the details. Outdoor, non-toxic paint. With time, all products will need to be refinished when left outdoors. The shingles (cedar) will patina to a silvery color and the piece will become weathered and distressed. No chemicals or sealants that can be harmful to wildlife have been used. A display pedestal can be purchased separately. The screw-in auger allows the owner to secure the pedestal into the ground.
