Ordering & Payment
Shopping at Cottage & Bungalow is very simple and very secure. Browse through our store and find the items you just can’t live without. Select the colors, sizes and any customizations from the product page. Click the “add to cart” button and the item is automatically placed in your shopping cart. Some items may have additional shipping charges due to their size, weight or special handling requirements. These additional costs ensure that the items are packaged appropriately and arrive in perfect condition in your home.
Once you have everything in your shopping cart, proceed to the checkout. Choose your Shipping Method, add a note with any Special Instructions and complete payment via Gift Certificate redemption or Credit Card Payment. The final step of the checkout process is to review your order and click on the "Place Order" button. A confirmation page will show a summary of your transaction and an email version of this summary will be promptly sent to the email address you provide.
All credit card transactions and confidential information are verified and protected by Paymentech, one of the industry leaders in SSL encryption.
Note that your credit card will be charged at the time of checkout for all items in your shopping cart. If you receive notice that an item or items are backordered, you can opt to cancel the order and your card will be refunded. Also, note that custom made items must be cancelled within 2 business days. If there is a question concerning whether or not your selection is a custom item (such as bedding, personalized items or furniture), please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide your order number.
Due to the uncertain covid environment, temporary lockdowns at the warehouses, and global container shortage, we are experiencing delays that are out of our control. The estimated production time given to you when you placed your order is only an estimate and not a guarantee of when your product will be completed. PLEASE NOTE, WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS, DISCOUNTS, CANCELATIONS OR RETURNS ON CUSTOM FURNITURE 48 HOURS AFTER ORDER PLACEMENT FOR ANY REASON EVEN IF IT IS DELAYED. BY PLACING YOUR ORDER, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS.

Placing an order through our shopping cart is as secure as ordering by phone, but we realize that sometimes you may have questions and want to speak to a real person. Please call our customer service number toll-free at 844-677-6604 Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am - 5 pm EST. If we are assisting other customers or if it is after hours, please leave a detailed message and we will return the call as soon as possible.
PROMOTIONS & SALES
From time to time we will run sales promotions that feature discounted pricing on products. Subscribers to our Cottage & Bungalow newsletter may also receive via email special coupons or promotion codes periodically to be redeemed at checkout. Coupons, sales and promotions can not be applied to gift certificates or combined with any other offer. Sorry, no price adjustments on previous orders. We reserve the right to cancel any order due to unauthorized or ineligible use of discount.
We loan finish samples for a few weeks while you are making your decision. Please note that the finish samples are not strikes off and the tone of the finish samples can vary in tone and hue due to our hand applications, wood grain variances and dye lots. If you are needing a color match, please let us know, and we'd be happy to provide a strike off for a small fee. Please talk to your representative.
